About Alex

Glimmer was founded by a woman who understands what it means to be a working female in today’s world. With all the expectations placed on women to juggle career, home, and family, it’s easy to put yourself and your health last. Alex set out to change that. Her career has been one of leadership and entrepreneurial endeavors. This experience not only taught her how to run a business but also how to be a mentor to others.

Alex previously served as Director of Operations for a large restaurant and club group in Miami and Director of Business Development for the beauty company Bastide. She also created the Miami-based dating App start-up Lyghtly. However, she wanted to do more. Founding Glimmer allowed her to truly dive into her passion — creating game-changing products that finally put women and women’s health first.
